ABOUT DOUG MCKENZIE

Doug McKenzie is a magician and mentalist whose internationally acclaimed performances have garnered him a reputation as one of the most innovative names in magic. His approach, "Magic2.0," fuses technology with magic and is redefining what’s possible within the art. In addition, he heads David Blaine’s team, consulting on and producing David’s prime-time specials and shows for over almost 20 years. Their latest series, “Do Not Attempt" is scheduled to air on Disney+ in 2025.

Doug has performed all over the world, both for notable businesses and celebrities, including: Google, Hermés, Spotify, American Express, Citi Bank, Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford, Paul Newman, Madonna, and Sting. He is also a favorite amongst royal families in the Middle East. 

Born in Scotland, Doug grew up in the Sultanate of Oman, Germany, and Saudi Arabia, and is fluent in English, German, and conversational Arabic. He holds a B.S. in finance and international business from New York University’s Stern School of Business and has lectured at both New York University and Princeton University. Beyond his professional achievements, Doug is a licensed pilot and skydiver. He is also an avid backgammon player and once defeated the current world champion in a match.
