On May 30th, 2014, Doug was invited to perform for British Airways' Flying Start charity ball in Glasgow, Scotland. Flying Start is the global charity partnership between British Airways and Comic Relief UK, a partnership whose aim is to raise money to help children living incredibly tough lives in the UK and around the world. Since its inception, £7.4 million has been raised to help create lasting change. While Doug was born in Scotland, this was his first time performing there.
